Provision of a solid knowledge base to plan health interventions for autochthon populations in Congo.

Health Focus was awarded a contract to undertake a study on the health and health needs of autochthon populations in Congo/Brazzaville. Autochthon populations, like the Batswa, Mbendjele, Baaka, Mikaya, Nguelé, Balouma, Bagyeli, Babi, and Bangombe are rather marginalized and have little access to culturally adapted and acceptable medical and social services.
