Feasibility study and proposal development: Programme to combat poverty related diseases in the developing countries: fight against HIV/AIDS
Objective:
Elaboration of an offer to EU as well as a technical proposal for the direct contribution of the consortium to the overall project budget (EuropAid/114433/C/G „Programme to combat poverty-related diseases in the developing countries: fight against HIV/AIDS“).
Content:
Health Focus GmbH was charged by GTZ, Business area AIDS Africa in context of a proposal presentation for the EU programme to combat poverty-related diseases in the developing countries: fight against HIV/AIDS. The GTZ project called „Participatory Youth HIV/AIDS Prevention and Care: Building on Local Experience“ was planned to be implemented by a consortium (KIT, Amsterdam (Royal Tropical Institute), the Family Planning Association of India (FPAI) und the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), Geneva) and included activities in Kenya, Burkina Faso and India. Priority of the project was given to prevention of HIV within Youth. Basic technical approach was the participation of youth in the assessment of existing services for HIV-positive young people and the implementation of the project.
