Health Focus and IAK Agrar Consulting's PAH project improves nutrition and hygiene in Burkina Faso through film-debates, reaching over 20,000 people.
Since 2018, Health Focus in consortium with IAK Agrar Consulting is implementing a project in Burkina Faso called PAH that aims at improving nutrition and hygiene in the family environment in the Southwest region. This project is part of GIZ’s Global Programme on food and nutrition security and enhanced resilience.
Activities target the seasonal availability of diversified and healthy food products; knowledge about nutrition and hygiene in the family environment; basic nutrition, hygiene and health services; and multisectoral coordination of food security and nutrition at regional level.
Film-debates are a dynamic communication tool used by the PAH to reach a wide audience with key messages. The films are produced locally and screened in the communities followed by discussions to ensure that the messages are understood. Approximately 20,000 people are reached by these sessions.
